There was a small surprise when eighth ranked BelgianCircus Brussels (15-11) smashed on the road 5th ranked Dutch Den Bosch (16-9) 94-72 on Wednesday. Brussels made 25-of-33 free shots (75.8 percent) during the game. They also forced 19 Den Bosch turnovers. It was a great shooting night for Brussels especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.9 percentage. American guard Jomaru Brown (188-1999, college: Coastal) scored 19 points and 4 steals (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import guard Deishuan Booker (191-1996, college: LBSU) chipped in 13 points during the contest. Four Circus Brussels players scored in double figures. Canadian guard Keevan Veinot (193-1998, college: Dalhousie) responded with 13 points and 7 assists and American forward JaeLyn Withers (206-2000, college: UNC) scored 18 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Brussels moved-up to seventh place, which they share with ZZ Leiden and Limburg. Defending Dutch champion Den Bosch keeps the fifth position with nine games lost.
